I am now presenting before you is the great and famous book of Michael Hart the hundred most influential persons in history so this is the book and in this book he has given an extract from a book from the book of a great scholar and philosopher Francis Bacon his book name is advancement of learning and he has given a very very important thing about the power of knowledge and you know his another quotation the knowledge is power it is also very very important thing and he is the man who brought the Europeans towards the Renaissance or Revival of knowledge movement so I quote here the word exact words of Francis Bacon he says we see then how far the monuments of weight and learning are more durable than the monuments of power or of the hands, for have not the verses of Homer continue 2500 years or more without the loss of a syllable or letter during which time infinite palaces temples castles cities have been decayed and demolished so this is the quotation from the book The advancement of learning it was published in 1605 Sir Francis Beckham you know is a very famous philosopher and is the person who brought really advancement of knowledge and he criticized the logic of Aristotle you know all about this is learning his knowledge that was Exquisite so that's why even today his words look like a pearls you know and I have recited those words before you so that we might be able to understand and these things right now I would like to give some of the things that are very very important you know Americans and Europeans they depend entirely upon the Revival of movement learning and then they came towards the power of science and technology so this was due to the the influence of Francis Bacon and he criticized the logic of Aristotle which were being followed at that time by the you know the church and the Christianity so right now uh if we look upon the word that has different Advanced and developed this is all because of the power of knowledge and someone has also said that books have ruled the world and this is also an exact thing even though the word is changing rapidly today and the power of you know the power of skills have acquired more importance as compared to the knowledge of the books but even then we can say these skills are also based upon the thoughts of Great Men if they did not give these thoughts to us then we would know we would not have been able to reach the stage that we are right now so uh if you look at the some some of the countries like China you know the I have already given you the example of Europe and also America even Russia so they depend entirely upon the thoughts of the Great Men keeping in view the Excel that I have presented before you if you look at the Muslim countries they are far far behind in this you know the field of knowledge and education that's why they are backward they don't have even top most universities they are not publishing some very good books even their thought is tried up that's why they are far far behind in advancement in knowledge and Science and Technology so they they don't have such power that is being enjoyed by the Chinese the Russians and also so the Europeans and Americans so that's why these arguments you know that I have given before you are very very important significant especially for those countries who don't have acquired he or who don't have acquired knowledge in you know and remain far behind than the other countries so there are almost 58 to 60 Muslim countries but they don't have this power of knowledge they don't focus on the advice given by you know Francis Bacon and also they have even avoided their own philosophers Averroes though they have even neglected and even avoided his thoughts he also uh you know gave them some very useful basis of advice like but they don't even focus on on him as well because uh Europeans you know when they came to Renaissance so that was this was due to avros so he was he belonged to the Arab country but even Muslims did not pay attention to his thoughts and even you know treated him very badly so that's why even today the conditions are very bad they don't focus on Science and Technology they have a very few scientists so that's why so these things are very very important as far as the Muslim countries are concerned I think they should focus on their knowledge taking knowledge writing books and also giving the importance to science and technology so there is that's why so that they must compete the other countries who are Advanced and developed just like you may give here's the example of Japan and also South Korea and Malaysia as well because it's a Muslim country but even then this is not enough for the Muslim countries so I wanted to give this you know effect to the especially to all the people who are living in the world and today's word you know it's been changed and altered because of Science and Technology because of the skills because of the AI and also the other very significant discoveries being made in the in theworld especially this is the age of Information Technology and after that there is going to be the age of Biotech so in this age I think Muslims should focus on the acquiring science and technology and also pay attention to their tours their education towards their learning then they will be able to solve the problems they are facing right now so these things I wanted to show you and hopefully in future I would also pay attention and also focus on some light on the very modern issues being faced by the Muslim countries there are also even in the world as well even the advanced countries as well they are facing some problem just like Europeans and Americans because there is the threat of Third World War as well because in Ukraine Russia and then America friends and the Europeans and two blocks China and Russia and on another side America and the Europeans are there so this is going to be very very destructive thing and I think the peace loving people should be influenced by the thoughts of these great men and I would also discuss them these great hundred personalities that Michael Hart has discussed in his book and I think if we focus on these the important thoughts of these important personalities then we will be able to solve some of the problems we are facing right now and I think the evil persons are trying their level best to destroy this world and the peace look at now the duty and obligation of the peace loving countries that they should step forward and stop these evil and
